Ministry of the Interior

The Ministry of the Interior is the governmental body responsible for the administration, oversight, and internal development of the Kingdom's sovereign territory. Its mandate is to manage the nation's vast lands and resources efficiently, oversee provincial governance, and ensure that all citizens understand their role within our ordered society. For a detailed cartographic view of our lands, please visit the Interactive Maps Portal.

The Ministry's key functions include urban planning for our growing cities, strategic resource management in the Dystopia and Alpine provinces, and agricultural zoning to maximize the output of the Jacksonian plains. It is the careful steward of the physical realm of DeBestia.

The Provinces of DeBestia

The Ministry oversees the administration of the four primary provinces:

  • Adamia: The heartland and most populous province, home to the capital, Adam City. It is the center of the Kingdom's government, finance, and technological development.
  • Jacksonia: A province of vast, rolling plains, it is the agricultural and ranching hub of the nation, ensuring DeBestia remains self-sufficient.
  • Dystopia Province: Characterized by its sweeping deserts and arid Great Basin, this province is rich in mineral and energy resources, critical to powering our nation's industry.
  • Alpine Province: A rugged and mountainous region with towering peaks, it is a center for tourism, secure data archives, and secluded research outposts.

ISO-3: International Standards Overview

One of the Ministry's most critical responsibilities is the publication and enforcement of ISO-3, the official guide to civic conduct and government in DeBestia. This document is the cornerstone of civic education, outlining the expected behaviors, responsibilities, and the precise structure of the national ranking system for all citizens. Mastery of the principles within ISO-3 is essential for any citizen wishing to improve their Civic Standing and demonstrate their loyalty to the Kingdom.
